David Morris MP visited Jodrell Bank to firstly tour the space astronomy facilities and then for a roundtable of academics who had worked on the University of Manchester’s On Space Policy document.
David Morris MP said: Thank you to the Policy @Manchester team for hosting me at Jodrell Bank, in my role as National Space Champion, recently. Jodrell Bank has a fascinating history and the academics there carry out important work in astronomy and space research. It was fantastic to meet some of the academics featured in Policy@Manchester's recent On Space publication and hear their policy recommendations on international collaboration, space psychology, sustainable resources, and how The University of Manchester's expertise in advanced materials can be utilised in future space strategy.
