On Friday the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Rt Hon Owen Paterson MP visited Brades Dairy Farm in Farleton with David Morris MP.
Mr Paterson met with farm owner John Towers and held a round table discussion with some members of David Morris MP's Farmers forum.
Speaking after the visit David Morris MP said "The farmers forum with the Secretary of State was a great way for Mr Paterson MP to see how his policies are shaping farming businesses. The farmers were able to have a full and frank discussion with Mr Paterson MP on a wide range of issues from Bovine Tb to farm funding and electronic identification for their animals."
"I was pleased that Owen Paterson Mp reiterated my own position on the Bovine Tb issue which is to strive to an ideal of 'healthy wildlife living alongside healthy animals."
"I know Owen Patterson was extremely impressed with the operation of Brades dairy farm and he hopes to visit again in the future"
