Brexit is the most important issue of a generation and it is vital for the future of our democracy that the result of the referendum of 2016 is honoured.
The Country voted leave, the Lancaster District voted leave and Morecambe and Lunesdale voted leave. We must leave the European Union.
Since the referendum I have used my vote in Parliament consistently to support leaving the European Union and I have also voted to keep no deal on the table.
The Prime Minister Boris Johnson has brought back a good deal and I will be supporting this deal to ensure we leave going forward. I will however vote for no deal if this deal with the European Union fails.
I want us to leave and I will continue to use my vote in Parliament to make sure Brexit is delivered.
